A man was shot multiple times, a female was shot once. Both were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
"Everything in the hotel was kind of normal, no one was causing any kind of panic," said George Sakellis, who was blocked by police from getting to his car.
Police set up a perimeter in the surrounding area as they looked for the shooter.
"If someone's out on the loose, it's definitely scary," Sakellis continued. "That's why I was surprised they didn't tell us to wait inside or something. But I asked the cop if we should be walking the streets and he said, 'yeah, it should be fine.' But it doesn't look like everything's fine."
