2 Dead In Plane Crash At Sebring Airport In Central Florida

SEBRING (CBSMiami/AP) – Two people are dead after a plane crashed at Sebring Airport on Friday.

The Highlands County Sheriff's Office reports that the aircraft went down around 11 a.m. It was found near the airport runway.

The identities of the victims weren't immediately released.

The sheriff's office says they were participating in a manufacturing event at the airport. The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are expected to investigate.
