1st-Rounder Parker, Other Draft Picks Sign With Dolphins

DAVIE (AP) — First-round draft pick DeVante Parker has signed a $10.87 million, four-year contract with the Miami Dolphins, who have also signed their six other draft picks.

All of the signings were announced Thursday on the eve of the team's three-day rookie minicamp.

Parker, a receiver from Louisville, was the 14th overall selection in the draft last week.

Second-round pick Jordan Phillips, a defensive tackle from Oklahoma, signed a $4.4 million, four-year deal.

Fifth-round picks Jay Ajayi and Cedric Thompson each signed $2.5 million, four-year deals. Ajayi is a running back from Boise State, and Thompson is a safety from Minnesota.

The Dolphins also signed offensive lineman Jamil Douglas of Arizona State, and cornerbacks Bobby McCain of Memphis and Tony Lippett of Michigan State.
