128 Guns Collected In Miami Buy Back Event

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- In a no-questions-asked buy back program, law enforcement announced they have taken more than a hundred weapons off the Miami streets.

Officials held the Gun Buy Back at Jordan Grove Missionary Baptist Church at 5946 N.W. 12th Avenue Saturday morning.

128 guns and rifles were turned in to the City of Miami Police Dept.

They offered $100 gift certificates for fully functioning weapons and $50 for non-working ones. A total of $6,400 was given out in exchange.
