11 North Lauderdale foster children rushed to hospital

MIAMI - Police say a group of North Fort Lauderdale foster children had to be taken from a home Thursday and rushed to the hospital.

The Broward Sheriff's Office said they responded to a home located near Southwest 15th Court and 66th Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance call just before 7 a.m.

One woman from the home was taken into custody for questioning, according to police.

North Lauderdale Fire Rescue transported at least ten children to be checked out as a precaution.

The state's Department of Children and Families said the residence was not a licensed foster home.

The Broward Sheriff's Office continues to investigate.
