Your Guide To 'CicLAvia: Culver City Meets Venice'

CULVER CITY (CBSLA.com) — CicLAvia has returned to the Westside on Sunday for the first time in two years.

The six-mile route starts at 9 a.m. and runs from Culver City to Venice. There is no official beginning or end point so participants can start anywhere on the route and proceed in either direction.

Streets will reopen to vehicles around 4 p.m.

The following streets will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday:

  • Main Street, from Venice Way to Market Street;
  • Windward Avenue, from Riviera Avenue to Speedway;
  • Windward Circle;
  • Grand Boulevard, from Venice Boulevard to Windward Circle;
  • Venice Blvd., from Grand Boulevard to Grand View Boulevard;
  • Centinela Avenue, from Venice Blvd. to Washington Place;
  • Washington Place, from  Centinela Ave. to Tilden Avenue;
  • Washington Blvd., from Tilden Ave. to Watseka Avenue;
  • Culver Boulevard, from Watseka Ave. to Canfield Avenue;
  • Bagley Avenue/Main St., from Venice Blvd. to Culver Blvd.; and
  • Washington Blvd., from Canfield Ave. to National Blvd.

Organizers say the free event is a great way for people to casually bike, skate, roller-blade or walk some charming neighborhoods in Culver City, Mar Vista and Venice.
