Yosemite Park Officials Warn Visitors To Watch For Bears On Road After 4 Struck By Drivers

YOSEMITE (CBSLA) — Yosemite National Park officials are warning visitors to watch out for bears while driving.

Recently, four bears have been struck by drivers and two of them died.

The bears were hit by cars going faster than the 25 mph speed limit.

Officials are urging drivers to slow down.

The national park was closed for months due to the coronavirus pandemic before reopening on June 11.

Access is limited and reservations are required.
