Written Threats Prompt Closure Of 2 LA Trade Tech College Buildings

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Two Los Angeles Trade-Technical College (LATTC) buildings were closed Thursday after threatening graffiti was found at the school.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, deputies were sent around 7:07 a.m. to LATTC, located at 400 West Washington Boulevard, to investigate report of written threats that were found on a wall.

Authorities have not clarified which buildings would remain closed, as a precautionary measure, for a portion of the day.

A major recruitment event that was scheduled to take place on campus was postponed until a later date, officials added.

The investigation is ongoing.
