Workplace Salary Gap Persists Between Genders, Site Finds

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A new study reaffirms that a workplace salary gap persists between men and women.

The study spanned technology, sales, and marketing jobs.

Facebook and Microsoft both released reports stating they pay women and men equally.

While Facebook's head of human resources says both men and women earn the same, Microsoft reported that its female employees make roughly 99.8 cents for every dollar their male counterparts make.

Tuesday, April 12th, marks Equal Pay Day.
