1 Dead In Shooting In Marina Del Rey Parking Lot

MARINA DEL REY (CBSLA.com) — A female victim was shot and killed Wednesday night in a Marina del Rey parking lot, authorities said.
The shooting was reported at 7:53 p.m. at the Market Place near Maxella and Glencoe avenues, said Officer Aareon Jefferson of the Los Angeles Police Department Media Relations Section.
The victim was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene, Jefferson said.
The suspect or suspects fled the scene and police were searching the area, Jefferson said.
