Woman Found Dead In Bellflower Parking Lot

BELLFLOWER (CBSLA.com) — A woman was found dead from blunt force trauma in a Bellflower parking lot, authorities said Monday.

The woman was found at 11:13 p.m. Sunday in the 17600 block of Bellflower Boulevard, Los Angeles County sheriff's Deputy Kimberly Alexander said.

"Suspicious bruising was found on the upper torso of the victim and is being investigated as a homicide," Alexander said.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman has been detained for questioning.

The death was reported in a parking lot, coroner's Investigator Jerry McKibben said.
