Woman Arrested On Suspicion Of Stabbing Man In Fontana

FONTANA (CBSLA.com) — Police on Tuesday announced the arrest of a 29-year-old woman in connection with a stabbing that occurred in Fontana.

According to the Fontana Police Department, Martha Fabiola Castillo was taken into custody on Saturday night in El Monte.

Around 1:10 on Thursday, Castillo allegedly stabbed a man in his neck at a home located in the 7900 block of Bennett Avenue.

She then fled from the home prior to the arrival of officers.

Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital. At this time, he remains listed in critical condition.

Castillo is being held at the West Valley Detention Center. She faces an attempted murder charge.
