Woman Accused Of Running Over Ex's New Girlfriend

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Authorities say a 23-year-old woman accused of ramming her ex-boyfriend's car and then running over his new girlfriend has been arrested.

The Los Angeles Times says Shantelle Glass of San Diego was arrested Friday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder. She remains jailed Saturday.

Police say the woman spotted her boyfriend in the Oak Park neighborhood around 10:30 p.m. Friday and rammed his car several times.

When a 26-year-old woman got out of the car, police say Glass ran her over. The driver fled but was later arrested.

Authorities say the victim's injuries are significant but not life-threatening.
