Woman Reported Missing In Loma Linda Is Found

Update as of 8:25 p.m.: San Bernardino County Sheriff's report via Twitter that Rosa Ortiz was located and is expected to be reunited with her family soon.

LOMA LINDA (CBSLA.com) — The San Bernardino County sheriff-coroner's department Thursday asked for the public's help in locating a missing woman.

Rosa Ortiz left her home for a morning walk around 10:45 a.m. and never returned home.

Around 5:45 p.m., the 65-year-old was spotted in the area of North E. Street and Hospitality Lane in San Bernardino, authorities said.

Ortiz is a Latina woman who stands at 5 feet 3 inches. She weighs 133 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities said Ortiz has Alzheimer's disease and dementia and takes medication due to high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

Anyone with more information as to Ortiz's whereabouts was asked to dial 911 or Sheriff's Dispatch at (909) 387-8313.
