Woman, 3-Year-Old Daughter Missing Since January 27 Found Safe

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA,com) — A 20-year-old woman and her 3-year-old daughter who had been missing since January 27 has been found safe, according to LAPD.

Police had been searching for Ladana Smith and her child -- last seen around 11 a.m. Jan. 27 in and around the 1900 block of West 22nd Street.

Authorities said Smith and the child returned home Thursday morning.

There were no further details available.
