Woman, 2 Dogs Rescued From Chino House Fire

CHINO (CBSLA.com) — A woman and two small dogs were rescued Wednesday from a burning home in Chino.

Firefighters responding to a call of an outdoor fire at a home in the 12000 block of Falcon Place in Chino at about 8:20 a.m. found flames in the back patio/deck area of the home had extended into the attic, Chino Valley Fire district spokesperson Massiel Ladron DeGuevara said.

One woman in her 20s sustained burn injuries to 5 percent of her body and was taken in stable condition to a hospital, DeGuevara said.

Two small dogs were also rescued from the home and given oxygen.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
