Winning Powerball Ticket Worth $1.2M Sold In Thousand Oaks

THOUSAND OAKS (CBSLA.com) — A Powerball ticket sold at a 7-Eleven convenience store matched five of the six winning numbers and is worth more than $1.2 million, according to California Lottery officials.

The ticket was purchased at the convenience store at 609 Rancho Conejo Boulevard in Thousand Oaks.

It matched the numbers 25, 18, 29, 21, 28, missing only the Powerball number of 16.

Lottery officials say the retailer is expected to receive a bonus of $6,095 for selling the ticket.

Officials say the winner should make sure to sign the back of their ticket in ink, keep it in a safe place and visit a Lottery District Office.
