Wind Advisory Issued For Southern California

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Strong wind gusts will continue to blow across the Southland today, meteorologists said Monday.

A wind advisory will remain in effect until 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Gusts reaching 50 miles per hour could hit the coastline below the mountain canyons today. Fire danger has been rated as "high."

Residents living in the Hollywood Hills, Santa Monica Mountains, Porter Ranch and Newhall Pass areas will be affected by strong winds throughout the day.
