Police Believe Carjacking Victim Was In Truck Bed During Wild Pursuit In Northridge

NORTHRIDGE (CBSLA) — Police say a search is underway for a suspect who led officers on a wild pursuit in the Northridge area.

Police say a man, believed to be a carjacking victim, was situated in the bed of the truck during the pursuit on Van Nuys Boulevard.

Police said the suspect bailed on foot, and remains at large. Officers say he was wearing jeans and a red shirt.

The suspect was also carrying a red backpack, and according to police, was armed with a gun.

The victim was found at the scene.
