What Do Ben & Jerry's, New Belgium Have In Common? A Desire To Help Fight Climate Change

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Ben & Jerry's and New Belgium Brewing have joined forces to fight climate change.

Both companies have unveiled a new product, the proceeds of which will benefit Protect Our Winters, a climate advocacy group.

"Each pint of Salted Caramel Brownie Ale ice cream and bottle of Salted Caramel Brownie Ale beer will benefit Protect Our Winters," the ice cream giant said on its website.

"This partnership is not about our products," Jostein Solheim, Ben & Jerry's CEO, said in an online video. "This partnership is about climate change."
