West LA Pilates Studio Owners Frustrated After 9 Vandalisms In Less Than A Year

WEST LA (CBSLA.com) — The owners of a pilates studio in West Los Angeles are looking to the public to help identify a vandal that has repeatedly struck the studio over the past year.

Even though the crime, which occurred on Westwood blvd. near Olympic blvd., was caught on camera, an arrest is yet to be made.

The suspect is seen on the surveillance video, smashing bottles and windows, and spray-painting walls. The vandalism has occurred nine times in less than a year.

The studio's owner says it will cost $600 to replace the window's protective plywood with glass, and the costs are adding up.

"I want it to stop," owner Daniela Escobar said. "We can't take this anymore, we're a small business, and this is a lot of money for us."

Neighboring businesses have also suffered vandalism.
