Man Stabs 3 Members Of His Own Family In West Hollywood

WEST HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA) — A man is in custody Monday after allegedly stabbing three members of his own family, one fatally.

The stabbing was reported at 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the 8700 block of Shoreham Drive in West Hollywood, Los Angeles County sheriff's spokeswoman Deputy Tracy Koerner said.

The suspect, identified later as 34-year-old Jose Emanuel Raselbach, is in custody and being held on $2 million bail. The man who was killed was the suspect's father, 66-year-old Abraham Raselbach, and the two women who were wounded were the suspect's mother and sister.

The motive behind the stabbing was not known.
