Weekend Closure Planned For Portion Of 405 Freeway Through Sepulveda Pass

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Portions of the northbound lanes of the San Diego (405) Freeway through the Sepulveda Pass will be closed this weekend for roadwork.

The freeway will be closed between Wilshire Boulevard and Getty Center Drive for three nights so crews can realign lanes and work on the median, Metro said.

The overnight closures will begin at 7 p.m.

Metro recommends using Sepulveda Boulevard as an alternate, exiting at Wilshire and then picking the freeway back up at the Moraga Drive onramp.

The northbound 405 onramps at Santa Monica Boulevard and at east and westbound Wilshire Boulevard will also be closed.

For the Sunday overnight closures for northbound travel, exit at Moraga Drive, turn left onto northbound Sepulveda, then left onto the 405 north onramp at Getty Center Drive. The northbound onramps in both directions on Wilshire and Sunset boulevards will also be closed.
