Lawson wanted to impress his sweetheart with something a little more creative when he popped the question so he decided to put a GoPro camera inside the ring box.
The reason?
So he could capture the look on his girlfriend's face when the big moment came.
Lawson also videotaped himself several hours leading up to the heartwarming event.
The video has been viewed more than 7,000 times on YouTube.
The couple plans to get married in spring.
