Ruptured Water Main Floods Gardena Neighborhood

GARDENA (CBSLA.com) — Crews plugged a broken water main that flooded a residential street in Gardena.

Starting at 4 a.m., water gushed 20 feet into the air on Daphne Avenue near West 147th Street.

The Golden State Water Company has turned the water off.

It's unclear what caused the break.
