Water Floods Silver Lake Street After Water Main Break

SILVER LAKE (CBSLA.com) — Crews Sunday morning were on the scene of a water main break in Silver Lake that sent water gushing onto the street.

Crews say a six-inch cast iron pipe ruptured near La Fayette Park Place and Marathon Street around 3:30 a.m.

They were still working to repair the pipe around 8 a.m.

The break occurred about a block away from another water main break that happened Saturday.
