The video, which has gone viral with more than 3 million views on Facebook, shows Addy Moorman pitching a softball at a water bottle and managing to take the cap off without knocking the bottle over.

"It hit right at the left side of the bottle, like the cap, and it just started spinning," she said. "It was awesome."

Her father, Ryan Moorman, said he was using the challenge as a fun way to practice pitch precision, but didn't expect that she would be able to take off the cap of the bottle. But into her second bucket of balls, the unexpected happened as the ball kissed the the cap of the bottle and twisting it clean off.

The bottle cap challenge has become a sensation on social media, with the likes of John Mayer and Jason Statham getting in on the action. It was initially about unscrewing the cap by side-kicking it, but this new clip has added another twist.
