'Walk To Cure Arthritis' To Be Held In Exposition Park

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Katy Carter and Rhiannon Carter stopped by KCAL9 Friday to spread awareness on how kids get arthritis.

Rhiannon, who is a national youth honoree of "Walk to Cure Arthritis," stopped walking when she was 2-years-old because her knees were painful and swollen. She was later diagnosed with Oligoarticular Juvenile Arthritis.

To counter the pain, Rhiannon takes pills, injections and infusions on a regular basis.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. in Exposition Park on Saturday. For more information, click here.
