Victorville Man Booked In Possession Of Marijuana

VICTORVILLE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a 55-year-old man was behind bars on suspicion of possessing marijuana and stolen property in Victorville.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner's department said in a written statement that Gabriel Ramirez was apprehended after a traffic stop in the area of Seneca Road and Bellflower.

The stop occurred about 10 p.m. Thursday.

According to the statement, deputies found five bags of marijuana stowed in a spare tire.

A subsequent search of Ramirez's motel room uncovered more marijuana, cash, drug paraphernalia and packaging material, authorities said.

"As a result of this investigation, over $1,300.00 in cash, 5 pounds of marijuana and three bags of methamphetamine were located," the statement added.

Ramirez was booked at the Victor Valley Jail. His bail was set at $50,000.
