Victim Struck With Tire Iron, Handgun During Oxnard Robbery

OXNARD (CBSLA.com) — Authorities are searching for two suspects who allegedly struck a 46-year-old man with a tire iron and handgun during a robbery.

Oxnard police said in a department statement that the victim was taken to St. John's Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

The incident in the 700 block of S. Oxnard Boulevard unfolded around 1:55 a.m. Sunday.

According to police, the victim was approached by two Hispanic men in their 30s.

Both made off with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
