Victim Crashes After Car-To-Car Shooting In Highland Park

HIGHLAND PARK (CBSLA.com) — Police are looking for a driver in a yellow SUV who they say shot another motorist Friday in Highland Park.

The incident was reported shortly after 4 p.m. where Avenue 64 meets the 110 Freeway, according to the LAPD.

Investigators say a driver in a yellow Ford Escape shot someone in another car.

The victim's car crashed and the gunman drove off.

The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and was listed in stable condition.

Detectives believe the violence may be gang-related.

Police believe the SUV may be the same vehicle involved in another shooting earlier in the week
