Ventura Boulevard Restaurants In Encino Flooded By Water Main Break

ENCINO (CBSLA.com) — Ventura Boulevard looked more like a river early Thursday morning, thanks to a water main break.

Crews were called to the 15600 block of Ventura Boulevard just after 1 a.m. and found a large water main break had breached a nearby sushi restaurant.

Officials are not sure how long cleanup will take.

Two westbound lanes of Ventura were closed between Haskell and Firmament avenues while crews work on the problem.
