Vehicle Shears Fire Hydrant In Panorama City

PANORAMA CITY (CBSLA.com) — A vehicle sheared a fire hydrant Tuesday, which sent water spewing into the air.

The incident unfolded shortly after 10 a.m., located in the 13900 block of West Roscoe Boulevard near Ranchito Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Crews are currently working to turn water off in the area.

It was not immediately clear if the driver fled from the scene following the crash.
