Vehicle Gets Stuck In Sinkhole After Water-Main Ruptures In Torrance

TORRANCE (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters say a water-main break early Sunday morning caused a sinkhole in the South Bay, resulting in one vehicle getting stuck.

The water-main ruptured on Crenshaw Boulevard in Torrance and caused street flooding.

Firefighters were called to the scene to assist two people whose vehicle had driven into the sinkhole.

Neither were injured.

Another water-main break occurred a few blocks away last September.

No further information was immediately available.
