Vehicle Fatally Strikes Pedestrian In South Los Angeles

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — A pedestrian was fatally struck Friday night in an unincorporated area near South Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at about 7 p.m. near the intersection of Firestone Boulevard and Zamora Avenue.
When officers arrived on the scene, the victim was found unresponsive in the middle of the street.
The driver remained on the scene, and no arrests had been made.
