US Coast Guard Rescues Sinking Sailboat In Long Beach
LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — The U.S. Coast Guard Tuesday rescued ten people from a sailboat sinking in waters off the coast of Long Beach.
Authorities received a call about the boat taking on water at 12:40 p.m. near Queens Gate.
Officials arrived on scene, set up pumps to prevent the vessel from sinking and towed the 46-foot boat to safe harbor.
No injuries were reported.
