UCLA Four Star Commit Reconsiders

According to CBSSports.com, UCLA four star defensive end commit Roquan Smith has decided to re-open his recruitment.

Smith who's from Macon, GA committed to the Bruins on National Signing Day but never signed his NLI (National Letter of Intent) because he heard that defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich was leaving the program to become a part of the Atlanta Falcons staff.

Smith is being pursued by Georgia, Michigan and Texas A&M and according to Chip Patterson of CBSSports, has no plans to sign an NLI. Smith's high school coach Larry Harold told the Atlanta Journal Constitution that the decision was made in order to give them flexibility.

There is reportedly no timetable on Smith's commitment.

Editor's note: As of Friday morning, Smith confirmed via Instagram that he will be attending University of Georgia to play football next season.
