UC Santa Barbara Releases Composite Sketches Of Gang Rapists

SANTA BARBARA (CBSLA.com) — Composite sketches of the men suspected of raping and beating a female UC Santa Barbara student were released to the public Thursday.

A 19-year-old student told police she was attacked by several men between the campus and Isla Vista Sunday.

The suspects are described as Asian men in their early 20s. The first suspect is described as tall with a thin build and medium-length black hair. The second suspect was described as short with a medium build, possibly wearing a red shirt.

Campus police say they will pass out a "wanted" flyer with the composite sketches of the two unidentified suspects at UCSB and in the Isla Vista area.

Anyone with information about the crime or the suspects can contact UCSB Police Department or make an anonymous tip to (805) 681-4171.
