UC Irvine's Ndiaye Declares For NBA Draft, Would Become Tallest Player In League

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — UC Irvine junior Mamadou Ndiaye could make history as the tallest player in NBA Draft this summer.

The 7 foot-6 center declared for the Draft on Thursday.

He will not hire an agent immediatly, leaving the option to return to school open, for now.

Ndiaye averaged 12.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks a game in 37 games during his junior year.

UC Irvine made history earlier this year when they started the tallest lineup in NCAA history.
