U.S. Bank Tower To Get Viewing Deck, Restaurant In $50M Makeover

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The tallest building in the West is about to make the most of its views.

The 72-story U.S. Bank tower in downtown Los Angeles will soon have an observation deck and meeting space as part of a $50 million makeover.

The makeover will also include a restaurant on the 71st floor that will have views from the hills of Glendale to Catalina Island.

The building will still house numerous offices, but the owners hope the skyscrapers will also become a busy tourist attraction.

Admission to the viewing deck is anticipated to cost around $25.
