Two Men Shot In Hollywood, Suspects Still At Large

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — Two men have been hospitalized with serious, but non life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Hollywood Saturday afternoon.

The victims, two African-American men in their 20's, got into a verbal altercation with three other men, who were also African-American and in their 20's.  Multiple shots were fired and the suspects are still at large.

The shooting took place in a building on the 1600 block of North La Brea Avenue near Hawthorne Avenue. A bullet hole is visible in one of the building's windows. Police cordoned off the block for a few hours after the shooting, but reopened it after security video seemed to indicate that the suspects had left the area.

The Ross store on Sunset Blvd. was also evacuated as police believed the suspects were heading that way.
