2 Killed In Big Rig Crash On 57 Freeway

SAN DIMAS (CBSLA.com) — Two people were killed Saturday morning in a crash involving two tractor-trailers on the 57 Freeway, according to authorities.

The crash occurred at 5:25 a.m., and a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher confirmed at two fatalities. The crash was on the northbound 57 at the westbound 210 Freeway.

At least one of the men who died in the crash suffered burns, California Highway Patrol Officer Tony Polizzi told City News Service.

All northbound lanes of the 57 Freeway were closed following the crash, authorities said. They were reopened at 1 p.m., according to CHP Officer Patrick Kimball.
