Two Cars Burned After Fire Erupts In Four-Story Office Building In Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters on Thursday extinguished a blaze that erupted within a four-story office building in Hollywood.

Shortly before 2 a.m., crews were sent to the 5800 block of Hollywood Boulevard near Bronson Avenue for report of a structure fire with heavy smoke showing, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Upon their arrival, firefighters located heavy smoke coming from the first floor of the building.

Further investigation located flames burning in the underground parking area of the office building.

Two vehicles and some items in a storage area burned in the fire.

About 21 firefighters were able to extinguish the flames within a half hour.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

No injuries were reported.
