Woman opens fire inside San Pedro bar leaving 1 dead, 2 injured

Police are searching for a woman who allegedly opened fire inside of a bar in San Pedro early Saturday, leaving one man dead and two others wounded.

The shooting happened at around 12:15 a.m. at the Machista Bar, located on S. Pacific Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. 

Investigators learned that the shooting was preceded by some sort of altercation inside of the bar, leading to the woman firing multiple shots and striking three people. 

A man, since identified as 33-year-old Tyrone Tyars, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

A 35-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man were rushed to a nearby hospital in unknown condition, police said. 

Investigators are now searching for the woman, believed to be in her 20s, who fled from the area in an unknown direction after the shooting.
