Tree Falls On Marina Del Rey Home, Destroys SUV

MARINA DEL REY (CBSLA.com) — A giant tree fell on top of a home and crushed a vehicle in Marina Del Rey Wednesday night.

The tree fell around 8 p.m. in the 4100 block of Alla Road.

The homeowner was in the house at the time and thought there was an earthquake.

No one was hurt, but the homeowner's SUV was a total loss.

It was unclear why the tree fell or how much damage it caused to the home.
