Tree Crashes Onto SUV In Newport Beach

NEWPORT BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Officials Tuesday were working to move a tree that crashed on an SUV in Newport Beach.

Wind apparently caused the tree to topple, according to authorities at the scene.

The branches were so large that Alta Vista Drive was blocked at Aralia Street near Corona del Mar High School.

No other details were immediately available.
