Tree Crashes Onto Truck In Panorama City

PANORAMA CITY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities on Thursday worked to remove a tree that fell on top of a vehicle in Panorama City.

Around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, firefighters were sent to the 8000 block of Cedros Avenue for report of a tree that fell on a vehicle, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Upon their arrival, crews put caution tape around the tree.

Firefighters said no one was inside of the truck when the tree came crashing down.

At this time, it remains unclear how officials plan to remove the tree from the area.

Authorities plan to investigate what caused the tree to fall.
