Toyota Reunites Marty McFly, Doc Brown In Video Clip Ahead Of 'Back To The Future' Day

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Ahead of "Back to the Future" day, Marty McFly and Doc Brown were reunited in a video clip released by Toyota on Tuesday night.

In it, the company takes Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox back in time to market their new hydrogen-powered car.

Toyota says the car is the modern version of Doc's DeLorean that ran on garbage.

Meanwhile, a host of events to commemorate Oct. 21, 2015, the date on which McFly and Brown set their clock to go to the future, have been planned.

Bob Gale, the writer and co-producer of the sci-fi films, told CBS News that the day "forever and ever … will be known as 'Back to the Future' Day."
