Topanga Canyon Wreck Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Injured

CHATSWORTH (CBSLA) – One person was killed and a second injured in a multi-vehicle wreck in Chatsworth Thursday morning that created traffic congestion in the area for several hours.

The collision occurred just before 11 a.m. in the 10100 block of Topanga Canyon Boulevard, according to Los Angeles police.

The circumstances of the crash were not immediately confirmed. One person died at the scene and the second was taken to a hospital with undisclosed injuries, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
