Top 10 Sports Celebration Fails

Everyone likes to celebrate. In the moment of a special event, occasion or occurrence, it is only natural to want to acknowledge and enhance that moment with a display of appreciation, delight, or most commonly in the world of sports, a display of celebrating dominance. Most all sports fans have seen a wide receiver spike a ball in the end zone, or a shooting guard hang his or her hand in the air following a 3-pointer, or a ballplayer flip a bat in confidence after connecting on a ball well on its way into the stands. These are the ways in which most athletes celebrate their competitive achievement.

However, some display a lesser degree of grace in their pursuit of celebration. We honor those passionate athletes, demonstrative fans and overzealous mascots with a look at some of the greatest sports celebration fails of all time.
